Barbara Down’s career spanned several decades. Her work has been shown extensively and is held in many private collections.

Barbara’s bold and colourful compositions often draw on places where she had a strong personal connection.

She trained in fine art and printmaking respectively at Maidstone College of Art and Croydon College of Art in the late 70s and early 80s.
